The Department of Labour under the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population and a local NGO named “Parami Development Network” jointly organized a job fair in the compound of the office of Shan Literature and Culture Organization in Kyaunggyisu Ward, Taunggyi City, Shan State this morning.
    

A total of 12 booths of microfinance institutions, oversea employment agencies and cosmetic industries from Taunggyi and Yangon are offering a wide range of job opportunities to visitors to the event, giving suggestions and clarifications to them. The Department of Labour also opened a temporary office to issue labour cards to those who apply for it during the event.
    

The aim of the job fair is to create better job opportunities for local youths from Taunggyi and nearby areas.—IPRD
