Over Ks.1.5 billion worth of Happy Water were captured in Tachilek Township in Shan State (East), according to the Myanmar Police Force.

A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Narcotics Squad examined a box to be carried to Yangon by Mah Phyo Kethi Kyaw at the airport in the town of Tachilek and seized Happy Water weighing 7.8 kilos worth K 585 million on September 7 at about 4:30 pm.

According to investigation, police members arrested Mah Mu Mu Kyu, Sai Wit Lat and Mah Nyi Nya along with a Toyota Crown, a motorbike and Happy Water weighing 8.52 kilos worth K 930 million in Win Kyauk Ward in the town of Tachilek at about 5:00 pm on the same day. 

Police have taken legal action against the offenders and an investigation is underway to identify the perpetrators of the crime chain. — MNA
