The Rural Development Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation is implementing development project with the use of K 1,995 million in 321 villages in Hsi Hseng Township, Pao Administrative Zone, Shan State beginning February.
The rural developmental project contains a total of 177 management works inclusive of 73 communication projects, four concrete bridges, 11 educational buildings, 27 water supply systems, 60 rural infrastructures and others, according to Head of Community Driven Project U Myo Thant.
K over 1,500 million from the rural development department and K 1,700 million from donors were spent on promoting the socio-economic status of local residents in His-Hseng Township. The rural development project under the rural development department has developed a total of 199 projects with the use of K 1,430 million in the first phase and 161 tasks of K 1,490 million in the second phase in His-Hseng Township. –Khun Yee Htwe (Hsi-Hseng)
