Kyat 900 million worth of stimulant tablets were seized in Insein Township of Yangon Region, according to the Myanmar Police Force.

Acting on a tip-off, a combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force examined Soe Lwin and Chit Win Ko Ko on Yangon-Pyay Road in Sawbwargyigone Ward of Insein Township at about 6:30 am on September 12 and arrested them along with 900000 stimulant tablets worth K 900 million.

According to an investigation, a drugs dealer, identified as Mah Nansinshan was arrested at the Ocean center in Tamwe Township of Yangon Region.

Police have taken legal action against the offenders and an investigation is underway to identify the perpetrators of the crime chain. — MNA
