THE Nay Pyi Taw Water Fountain Gar­den is under renovation and expansion into the Royal Garden at a cost of over K15 billion.

 

The Nay Pyi Taw Water Fountain Garden, which was first built in 2008 and is now 17 years old, is being renovated and expanded into the Royal Garden in line with the urban character of the developing Nay Pyi Taw Council Area.

 

The renovation and new construc­tion are carried out in three phases. The first phase involves four types of upgrades and 14 types of new construc­tion. The second phase involves 14 types of new construction, and the third phase involves 17 types of new construction, making a total of 49 projects. Of the 45 new construction projects, modern chil­dren’s playgrounds, new parks, and large figures are being included, and 14 have already been completed.

 

Efforts are also underway to ensure that the trees and flowers in the new Royal Garden are always green and beautiful and to hold seasonal festivals and flower festivals. Currently, the Nay Pyi Taw Water Fountain Garden is open daily from 8 am to 8 pm, and the entrance fee is K1,000 per person. — ASH/MKKS
