Myitkyina, 9 December 

A ceremony to conclude basic scout course 1/2019, jointly run by Myanmar Scout Federation and Kachin state private schools association, was held at the convocation hall of Myikyina university in the town of Myikyina, kachin state yesterday morning.  

The ceremony was attended by Kachin State Chief Minister Dr. Khet Aung, the state social affairs minister U Nay Win, U Aye Kyaing from Myanmar Scout Federation, departmental head at state level and invited guests. At the event, the attendees saluted the national flag and scouts performed a song titled the integrity of scout. After that, trainees from basic scout course 1/2019 took an oath of scout. Then, the state Chief Minister Dr. Khet Aung made a concluding speech, urging the trainees to work hard for the country. 

Afterwards, a video clip showing the activities of the scouts during the course was played. 

A total of 365 trainees from private schools in the town of Myitkyina finished the course that run from 5th to 8th December.—State IPRD
