Kantaung-Inowne-Maungtai road will be upgraded into a concrete road in Meiktila Township, Mandalay Region, according to Township Department of Rural Development. 

With the aim of developing the rural areas, construction of bridges and box culverts and upgrade of rural roads are being undertaken in rural areas across the nation. 

Now, the concrete road will be built with K 429.882 million allocated by capital of Union Budget and the project will be conducted by tender winning company, according to the Township Department of Rural Development. 

Upon completion, it will bring safe and convenient transportation to the local people in the Township.
