Kayin State Chief Minister Daw Nan Khin Htwe Myint, State Minister for Security and Border Affairs Col. Myo Min Naung, State Ministers and departmental personnel checked the developmental works conducted in Kamamaung yesterday.
First, the State Chief Minister and officials went to Koenawin Monastery in Kamamaung and donated offerings to the Presiding Sayadaw of the monastery. Then, a total of 430 students studying in the monastery were provided K 15 million for expense of foodstuff of second six-month, stationery, coffee, masks, hand gel and other necessary items by officials from Department of Development for Border Areas and National Races.
They then went to Thiridamatawya Monastery and donated offerings to the Presiding Sayadaw. Next, they also provided stationery, coffee, masks and other items to a total of 150 students studying in the monastery.
Afterwards, the officials also scrutinized the construction of aqueducts conducted in Ward-2 in the town of Kamamaung in Hpapun District and urged the responsible people to cooperate with the respective departments. Next, they also inspected water supply projects undertaking in Yetwingone, Natgone, Hnakpyawtaw and Kawpatine villages in Hpa-an Township.
