A ceremony to provide financial aid to sons and daughters of government personnel, studying in 2019-2020 academic years and to honour sons and daughters of government personnel from General Administration Departments in Kayin state, who brilliantly passed matriculation exam in 2018-2019 academic year was held at the meeting hall of kayin state government this morning. 

First, Kayin state chief minister Daw Nan Khin Htwe Myint made a speech, then, the state commissioner U Kyaw Soe clarified the aim of providing financial aids to sons and daughters of government personnel from general administration departments in Kayin state. Then, the state chief minister awarded prizes to students who passed 2019 matriculation examination with five distinctions four distinctions and one distinction respectively. Afterwards, members of the state government handed away financial aids to schoolchildren, sons and daughters of government personnel from townships/ districts/ state GAD offices.

Financial aids given to a total of 573 students was K 12.303 million and prize money aided to five outstanding students who brilliantly passed 2019 matriculation amounted to K 1.3 million, it is learnt.—Saw Myo Min Thein (IPRD)
