Hpa-an, 16 December
The opening of a job fair jointly organized by the Department of Labour and Hpa-an Technical High School with the sponsorship from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and LRC was held at the government technical institute in Hpa-an, Kayin State on 14 December.
The event is aimed at creating more job opportunities for the young people across the country. Speaker of Kayin State Hluttaw U Saw Chit Khin, Kayin State Minister for Social Affairs U Bo Bo Wai Maung and Kayin State Minister for Immigration and Human Resource U Min Ko Khaing and representatives from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and LRC formally opened the job fair.
Many booths from 30 companies ranging from construction to electronic firms from Yangon, Mandalay, Mon and Kayin States are being exhibited their products in the two day event.—Nay Myo Lwin
