Co-sponsored by Social Welfare Department, Rehabilitation Department, UNICEF and MRWG, the 9th coordinating meeting of Kayin State Mines Awareness Working Group was held at GABBANA Hotel here this morning.
At the meeting, Head of Kayin State Social Welfare Department U Zaw Min clarified matters related to mine clearance whereas an official of UNICEF reported on information management and findings, followed by a general of discussions made by those present.
The meeting came to an end with the concluding remarks by Director U Zaw Min who is also the secretary of Kayin State Mines Awareness Working Group.—Saw Myo Min Thein (IPRD)
