THE KBZ Centre Mandalay has been providing free haemodialysis (kidney dialysis) services for financially disadvantaged patients since 2 February.
The centre has accepted application forms to provide free haemodialysis treatment, and patients who are genuinely in financial need are being screened and selected to receive the free treatment.
“At present, free haemodialysis treatment is being carried out using four machines. Once an additional 16 machines are installed, priority will be given to applicants who have already submitted their applications,” said Dr Htwe Thiri Kyaw Nyunt, Head of the Medical Team at the KBZ Centre Mandalay.
