Kindergarten students received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine at the meeting hall of B.E.H.S.-1 in the Town of Namtu, Kyaukme District of Shan State (North) this morning.

 

KG students from ten Basic Education Schools including one B.E.H.S., one B.E.M.S., one post-Primary school and seven primary schools were vaccinated against COVID-19 in line with COVID-19 health guidelines set by Ministry of Health, according to the Township medical superintendent Dr. Aung Lwin.

 

On the occasion, healthcare workers monitored the body temperatures and blood pressures of the students before administering the vaccine to them, and watched them for 30 minutes after giving the vaccine.—Lu Maw (IPRD)
