The Embassy of Kuwait in Yangon celebrated the 58th National Day and the 28th Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait at the Melia Yangon Hotel yesterday.

It was attended by Union Minister for Information Dr. Pe Myint and wife Daw Khaing Nwe Oo. First, the celebrations started with the national anthems of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the State of Kuwait. Afterwards, Union Minister Dr. Pe Myint, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Ambassador of Brunei Mr. Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Pahlawan Colone (R) Dato Paduka Haji Abdu’r Rahmani bin Dato Paduka Haji Basir, charge d’affaires a.i. of Embassy of Kuwait Mr. Adel Al Adgham sliced the commemorative cake and posed for documentary photos together with attendees.

The embassy hosted a dinner to the attendees.

Also present at the event were diplomats in Yangon, resident representatives of the UN agencies and guests.
