The Department of Agricultural Land Management and Statistics issued land use certificate (form-7) to farmers from two village-tracts in Namtu Township, Northern Shan State this morning.

The land use certificates were given to farmers during an event held at the meeting room of the General Administration Department. Firstly, Township Administrator U Thein Hsint gave a speech and an official from Department of Agricultural Land Management and Statistics clarified matters relating to issuance of land certificate.

Next, lawmakers for Shan State parliament U Tin Hlaing and Daw Nang Sai Hun, and departmental officials presented land use certificates to 170 farmers from two village-tracts in the township.—Lu Maw (IPRD)
