Acting on a tip-off, a combined team comprising policemen from Taungyi Anti-drugs Squad-25 led by Police Inspector Soe Naing and police members from Kalaw Myoma Police station led by Police Inspector San Lwin together with witnesses intercepted a motorbike driven by Khu Soe Win on  Kalaw-Thazi Roads near Yeya Village, Kalaw Township in Shan State(South) yesterday evening and seized 13000 stimulant tablets weighing 1300 grams worth K 13.0 million, a mobile phone and a motorcycle from him.

Authorities filed charges against Khun Soe Win, 25, from Htangnyo Village, Pinlaung Township under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—Township IPRD
