A combined team comprising police members from Anti-drugs Squad raided the house of Daw Li Lauk La (a) Aa Yin in Market ward in the town of Muse, Shan State on 8 December and arrested another woman, identified as Daw Thein Thein Maw along with 6400 stimulant tablets, heroin weighing 40 grams and a mobile phone in bed room, according to information released by the Myanmar Police Force.

In a similar incident in the same day, policemen from Anti-drugs Squad intercepted a vehicle driven by Sai Suam Han with Sai Naw Kham on board at Tasang checkpoint on Mongpan-Mongton Road in Mongpan Township, Shan State and seized over 1100000 stimulant tablets worth K 1150.0 million and two mobile phones from them.—MPF
