Kyat 240 million worth of drugs seized in Waw Township of Bago Region, according to the Myanmar Police Force.

A combined team comprising members of Anti-Drug Squad stopped and searched a TOYOTA PROBOX vehicle leaving for Yangon from Mawlamyine near Nyaung Khashi Village in Waw Township of Bago Region at 9:15 am on 13 May, and seized 160000 stimulant tablets from a traveler, identified as Sai Hla Win in the vehicle.

Sai Hla Win has been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—MNA
