A ceremony to open an office of the Legal Aid Board took place at the meeting room of the General Administration Department in Minhla, Bago Region this morning.
    

At first, the chairman of the regional legal aid board U Khin Maung Lwin delivered an address, saying eligible citizens who need legal aid will be provided with lawful suggestions, consultations and information in accordance with the law. Acting Township Administrator U Myo Kyaw also expressed his hope that the Legal Aid Board will be reliable and dutiful body for the public. Next, the chairman of the township legal aid board U Win Myint clarified current undertakings of the organization and spoke words of thanks.
    

The newly-opened Legal Aid Board’s office is located in the compound of the General Administration Office and is the first of its kind in the western part of Bago Region.—Pauk Sa (Minhla)
