The final match of the inter-township U-25 men’s football contest was held in conjunction with a prize awarding ceremony at Shwepyitha sports ground in Lahe Township, Naga Self-administered Zone in Sagaing Region on 19 October.
The football team representing Nanyun Township beat the squad representing Leshi Township 2-1 in the final game and was crowned the champion trophy. The Naga Self-administered Zone Leading Body Chairman U Kay Hsai, leading body members and departmental officials presented champion trophy, certificate of honour and individual awards to the prize winning teams and players.
The football competition was participated by four teams representing Lehe, Nanyun, Leshi and Sommaya Townships.
