Union Minister for Labour, Immigration and Population U Thein Swe attended a conference titled “Future of Work 2019 Embracing Technology; Inclusive Growth” held in Singapore yesterday morning.

The conference was attended by Singapore Minister of Manpower and ASEAN ministers of labour, representatives of six dialogues partner countries, ILO (International Labour Organization) Director General Mr. Guy Ryder, ASEAN Secretary General Dato Lim Jock Hoi, ILO Global Commissioner, government, worker and employer representatives from ASEAN member countries.

Union Minister U Thein Swe and party will meet with officials from Singapore’s Center for Domestic Employees on Myanmar workers affairs and with officials from Singapore Polytechnic International Pte. Ltd. on capacity raising matters on 30 April. — MNA
