Myanma Agricultural Development Bank in Kantbalu District, Sagaing Region disbursed monsoon agricultural loans to farmers in Ward-4 in the town of Kantbalu on 10 June.

The bank is focusing the farmers who have totally paid back previous debt to dispense loans. The bank disburses K 150,000 per acre with an interest rate of five percent. The bank disbursed K 15 million of loans to 31 farmers for 100 acres of farmland.

Arrangements are being made to disburse K 477.3 million of loans for 3,182 acres to the remaining 960 farmers from eight village-tracts, according the bank manager.
