With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans for emerald green project were dispensed to members of village emerald green project from Ywashay (East) and Ywashay (West) villages at B.E.P.S in Ywashay(East) village in Budalin Township, Sagaing Region yesterday. The disbursement of loans is the sixth of its kind in the villages.

First of all, Chairman of the township management committee U Kyaw Moe Lwin delivered an opening speech and staff officer of the township Department of Rural Development U Tun Tun Win clarified the purpose of the project and explained rules and procedures of the project to be abode by rural people.

Then, U Kyaw Moe Lwin disbursed K 52.5 million to 115 members of village emerald green project from Ywashay(East) and Ywashay (West) villages in Buddalin Township.

Afterwards, officials also dispensed over K 54.1 million to members of village emerald green project from Sinwin and Kanthar Villages at the Dhamayone in Kanthar Village in Budalin township.—U Yin Min Aung
