With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans for emerald green project were disbursed to farmers in Hpa-pya Village, Kyain Seikgyi Township, Kayin State yesterday.           

The disbursement of loans is the fourth of its kind. First of all, an official from the township Department of Rural Development gave a speech and clarified the purpose of the project and explained rules and procedures of the emerald green projects to be abode by rural people and handed over K 30.0 million to farmers in Hpa-pya village.
