With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans for emerald green project were disbursed to members of village emerald green project committee at the Suyat hall in Chi Village, Sidoktay Township, Minbu District, Magway Region yesterday. The disbursement of loan is the fifth of its kind in the village.

At the event, an official from the township DRD gave a speech and clarified the purpose of the project. Afterwards, staff from the township DRD dispensed K 44.1 million to members of village emerald green project committee in the village.
Altogether 123 people - 95 people in agriculture business, 22 in livestock breeding business and six in trading business from Chi Village received loans of the projects.
