With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans for emerald green project were disbursed to farmers in Kanpulot and Thonsintkan villages in Wetlet Township yesterday. The disbursement of loan is the fifth of its kind in the village.

Staff from the township Department of Rural Development dispensed K 56.2 million to farmers in Kanpulot Village in Wetlet Township. Altogether 126 people – 63 people in agriculture business and 63 in livestock breeding business received loans of the project.

Next, Staff from the township Department of Rural Development also disbursed K 46.2 million to farmers in Thonsintkan Village in Wetlet Township. Altogether 158 people – 144 people in agriculture business and 14 in livestock breeding business received loans of the project.
