With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans for emerald green project were disbursed to farmers in Minzu Village, Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Region yesterday afternoon.

The disbursement of loan is the fifth of its kind and the Pyithu Hluttaw Lawmaker U Soe Aung, the region Hluttaw Representative Daw Khin Hnin Yee delivered speeches.

Then, staff officer of the Township emerald green project committee U Myint Than explained rules and procedures of the emerald green project to be abode by rural people.

Afterwards, the Pyithu Hluttaw Lawmaker U Soe Aung, the region Hluttaw Representative Kaw Khin Hnin Yee and officials from the township DRD dispensed K 45.9 million to farmers in the village.

Then, staff led by U Myint Than from the Township DRD and members of village emerald green project committee reviewed the project in Minzu Villager.

Altogether 271 people including 133 people in Agriculture business and 138 in livestock breeding business received loans of the project.
