With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans to implement emerald green projects were disbursed to farmers at the office of village Administrator in Kunpalai Village, Dedaye Township, Ayeyawady Region yesterday.

First of all, staff officer of the Township’s Rural Development Department Daw Thein Thein Aye clarified the purpose of the project and explained about rules and procedures of the emerald green projects to be abided by rural people.

Altogether 191 people—67 people in agriculture, 86 in livestock breeding, 30 in trading and 8 in others received loans of projects.—Myint Myint Khine, IPRD
