With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans to implement emerald green projects were disbursed to farmers at the office of village administration in Minywa, Gangaw Township, Magway Region yesterday.

Afterwards, an official from the Township Rural Development Department handed over K 40.5 million to U Aung Ko Min, chairman of Emerald Green Project Supervisory Committee.

Altogether 225 people including 105 people in agriculture business, 105 in livestock breeding business and one in trading business and 14 in other business sector received loans.—Sein Kyaw
