With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans to implement emerald green projects were disbursed to farmers at the Monastery of Kyundat Village in Gangaw Township, Magway Region yesterday.
The disbursement of loans in the fifth of its kind and an official from the township Department of Rural Development dispensed K 38.8 million to farmers in the village.
Altogether 156 people—95 people in agriculture business, 60 in livestock breeding business and one who will attend vocational school received loans.
Then, staff led by U Tun Lin from the Township DRD and members of village emerald green project committee reviewed the project in Kyundat Village.—U Kyaw Than Swe, District IPRD.
