Kyobinkauk, 1 December

With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans for implementation of emerald green projects were disbursed to members of village emerald green project committee in Ywa Tharya Village in Kyobinkauk Township, Bago Region yesterday.

At the event, staff officer of the Township Department of Rural Development U Aye Lwin delivered a speech and clarified the purposes of the project. Afterwards, an official from the Township DRD handed over K 35.8 million to 147 people in the village.

Staff from the Township DRD dispensed loan of the project to members of village emerald green project committee in line with COVID-19 health guidelines set by Ministry of Health.—Ko Nyo(DRD)
