With the aim of boosting the income of rural people and their socio-economic status, loans for implementation of emerald green projects were disbursed to farmers in Phatmazuat Village, Putao Township in Kachin State this morning. The disbursement of loan is the eight of its kind in the village.

At the event, staff officer of the Township Department of Rural Development Daw Ei Ei Mon clarified the purposes of the project and clarified rules and regulations of the emerald green projects to be abode by members of village emerald green project committee.

Afterwards, staff led by Daw Ei Ei Mon handed over a total of Ks. 42.6 million to 97 members of village emerald green project committee in the Village.—Min Myint Mor(DRD)
