With the aim of boosting the income of rural people and their socio-economic status, loans for implementation of emerald green projects were disbursed to farmers in Thetkaw Village, Thanbyuzayat Township in Mon State yesterday. The disbursement of loan is the second of its kind in the village.

At the event, staff officer of the Township Department of Rural Development Daw Tin Wei Hnin clarified the purposes of the project and explained rules and regulations of the emerald green projects to be abode by rural people.

Afterwards, Daw Tin Wei Hnin handed over Ks. 31.3 million to 51 members of village emerald green project committee in the Village.—Ko Nyo(DRD)
