An event to disburse loans of emerald green project to local residents in Palkin village, Linwae village-tract in Ywangan Township, Danu Self-Administered Zone, Shan State (South) was held on 19 December.

An official from the Township Department of Rural Development said that the event aims at increasing family income, creating job opportunities and implementing village development projects with increasing funds. Then the responsible people of the project also clarified rules and regulations to be abided by the members who receive loans of the project.

Then, the officials dispensed K 65.6 million of loans of the project to 123 people including 66 in agricultural business, 56 in livestock business and one in trade business with low interest rates.
