The Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank (MADB) branch in Kyunhla Township, Kanbalu District, Sagaing Region, began disbursing loans this morning for rain-fed crops under the 2025–2026 financial year plan.
“Today, 128 farmers from Inkaung and Kyikone Village Tracts, Pyinma Myaing and Thit Ya Myaing Wards received loans for rain-fed crops. The loans are being provided at a rate of K1.5 million per acre for 303 acres of paddy and K1 million per acre for 457 acres of other crops, totaling K91.15 million,” said Township MADB Manager Daw Cho Cho Win.
As part of the overall plan for the 2025–2026 financial year, Kyunhla Township aims to disburse K300 million in loans to 320 farmers. The loans will support cultivation on 150 acres of paddy and 750 acres of other crops.— Myo Win Nyo, Kyunhla
