Local people received their booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine at the designated vaccination sites in Maungdaw Township, Rakhine State yesterday morning.
Under the supervision of the Township Administration Council, healthcare workers from the Township Department of Health monitored the body temperatures and blood pressures of local people before giving the vaccine and watched them for 30 minutes after administering the vaccine.
A total of 615 people including five civil servants and 610 local people received their booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine on 9 May. As of May 9, a total of 7009 people received their booster dose of COVID-19 Vaccine in Maungdaw Township. Medical workers carried out vaccination campaign in line with Covid-19 health guidelines set by Ministry of Health.—Thet Lwin Soe(IPRD)
