Staff from Salin Township Information and Public Relations Department passed leaflets to passers-by at crowded public spaces in the town of Salin, Magway region this morning.

The activity aims to broaden local people’s knowledge about Covid-19 in order to help them prevent from the disease.

The leaflets contain information about how Covid-19 spreads, ways to prevent oneself from contracting the deadly virus, rightful hand washing to get rid of the virus, the symptoms of the disease, messages about Covid-19 from famous film actors and actresses and excerpts from online discussions about Covid-19 prevention, containment and treatment efforts between State counselor Daw Aung San Su Kyi and those who are engaging in the country’s battle against the virus.—Soe Moe Thu (Salin)
