A ceremony to open Luhtu Myitta concrete road built under the Community Driven Project was convened at Takhwetphoe village, Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State yesterday morning.

 


At the ceremony, Speaker of State Hluttaw Representative U Saw Chit Khin, Deputy Director of Rural Development Department U Kyaw San Htay, Hlaingbwe Township Administrator U Min Thein and the officials cut a ribbon to formally open ceremony and then sprinkled the scented water on the stone inscription. 

 


The new concrete road built by the Rural Development Department together with World Bank is 1,648 feet in length, 12 feet in width and 6 inches in height at a cost of K 18 million from the Community Driven Project and K 6.8 million contributed by the donors. –Min Myint Mo
