Pindaya, November 18
The Myanma Agriculture Development Bank (MADB) in Pindaya Township, Danu Self-administered Zone in Southern Shan State has been disbursing agricultural loans for winter crops to the local farmers since the second week of November.
The MADB doled out Ks 303.20 million of agricultural loans to 592 local farmers for their 30,320 acres of winter crops such as sesame, sunflower and peanuts at a rate of 100,000 kyats per acre. The loans will be given out to farmers from the remaining villages and wards depending on the cultivation season.
The agricultural loans are systematically disbursed to local farmers in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Sports.
