Magway Region Fishery Department launched fish-seeding event at Kyion-Kyiwa dam in Pwintphyu township this morning.

Magway region chief minister Dr. Aung Moe Nyo, U Win Maw Htay, region minister for agriculture, livestock breeding and irrigation, the region Hluttaw speaker U Tar, deputy speaker U Zaw Myo Win and Members of the region Hluttaw, Dr. Yin Yin Moe, head of the region Fishery Department and departmental officials took part in the activity, seeding a total of 350000 fingerlings into the dam. 

Fish-seeding into the dam was annually held with the aim of securing food safety, boosting fish production, generating the income of local people and fishermen.—Ye  Win Naing ( Nyaung-U)
