Mahlaing, 11 March

A murder took place this morning in Kyauktan village, Mahlaing township, Mandalay region in which a man was hacked to dead by his elder brother who was a drunkard.

Kyaw Soe, 37, a drunkard, son of U Soe Kyi of Kyauktan village, Mahlaing Townshgip, became disorderly under the influence of alcohol and hacked Kyaw Myo, 35, his younger brother. He was subdued by his family including his father.

Kyaw Myo sustained a multiple injuries and died of the serious injuries.

Action is being taken against Kaw Soe for murder according to the law by Mahlaing Myoma Police Station.—Kyaw Kyaw (Mahlaing)
