Chief Minister of Mandalay Region Dr Zaw Myint Maung attended an inauguration of a new concrete road section linking a detour and an industrial zone in Kyaukse, Mandalay Region on July 23 evening.
    

The road section was formally opened by Mandalay Regional Ministers Dr Soe Than Oo, U Myo Thit, U Sai Pan Hsai, Mandalay Region MP U Ye Min Tun, Chairperson of the NLD for Mandalay Region U Tin Htut Oo and Managing Director of Myanmar Thandaw Myat Co U Kyaw Tun Oo by cutting a ceremonial ribbon.
    

The chief minister gave a speech and the managing director of Myanmar Thandaw Myat Co explained matters relating to the construction of road. Next, the chief minister presented certificates of honour to the managing director and representatives from Alpha cement plant before a local spoke words of thanks.
    

The road measuring 40 ft. wide, 2 ft. thick and 4 miles and 2 furlongs long was built at a cost of over K 3160 million and is expected to benefit more than 25,000 residents from 16 villages from five village-tracts in the area.
