With the aim of preventing and controlling the spread of diseases such as malaria and dengue virus, a collective cleanup activity was carried out in Shadaw Township, Loikaw District, Kaya State this morning.

The township Administrator, Departmental staff, Myanmar Police Force, firefighters from the township Fire Services Department, staff from the township Development Affairs Committee and the Tatmadaw members conducted a mass garbage clearance campaign in the compound of the town hall and the township traditional medicine hospital starting from about 7:00 am to 8 am on 28 August.
