The Department of Health under the Ministry of Health and Sports conducted a mass immunization campaign against measles and rubella in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region this morning.
    

The department injected 25,736 children aged less than 5 year and 6 month old and pregnant women with vaccination against various diseases such as measles and rubella free of charge on starting from 28 November, said Dr. Nay Moe, Medical Superintendent from a 100-bedded hospital .

The mass vaccination campaign against measles and rubella for kids under 5 years old is being carried out across the country with the aim of complete elimination of the diseases.—Aung Win Nyein
