Medical workers from the Township Department of Public Health under Ministry of Health conducted a mass immunization campaign at the designated vaccination sites and the office of the Township Maternal and Child Welfare Association in Maungdaw Township, Rakhine State this morning.

During the event, healthcare workers dosed and vaccinated children below two years old and pregnant women with vaccine against hepatitis B, Polio, measles, diphtheria, pneumonia and encephalitis.

Health care services have been provided to children below two years old and pregnant women every Monday since the first week of September this year in Maungdaw Township in line with COVID-19 health guidelines set by Ministry of Health.—Aung Kyaw Sein(District IPRD)
