Under the guidance of the Ministry of Health and Sports, medical staff from the Township Department of Health conducted a mass immunization campaign in conjunction with a knowledge sharing event about Health awareness on prevention of Covid-19 pandemic at the people’s hospital in Myitkyina, Kachin State this morning.

On the occasion, health workers vaccinated and dosed children below two years old and pregnant women against various diseases such as hepatitis B, Polio, measles, diphtheria and Japanese encephalitis in line with COVID-19 health guidelines set by the Ministry of Health and Sports.

Medical workers injected and dosed 1500 children below two years old and 50 pregnant women against diseases between the first week of May and the first week of June in Myitkyina.—District IPRD
