Under the guidance of the Ministry of Health, medical workers from Paikyone sub-Township Department of Public Health conducted a mass immunization campaign in conjunction with a knowledge sharing event about Health in the Town of Paikyone, Hpa-an District of Kayin State this morning.

Medical workers from the sub-Township Department of Public Health vaccinated and dosed children below two years old and pregnant women against various diseases such as hepatitis, Polio, measles, diphtheria and Japanese encephalitis. Medical workers also provided necessary medical check-up to children and pregnant women.

Healthcare workers continue to provide the vaccines to children below two years old and pregnant women from March 28 to 29 in Paikyone Sub-Township.—Naw Khu(IPRD)
