Thongwa, 1 November

The Township Department of Health conducted a mass immunization campaign in conjunction with a knowledge sharing event about various diseases at its office in Thongwa Township, Yangon Township on 1 November. 

On the occasion, medical workers dosed and injected children below one year old and pregnant women form 12 wards in the town with the vaccine against various diseases such as polio, measles and rubella in the Township. 

Medical workers conducted immunization campaign in line with COVID-19 health guidelines set by the Ministry of Health, according to an official from the Township Department of Health.—Ko Kyaw (Thongwa)
