The staff from the Department of Health under the Ministry of Health and Sports conducted a mass immunization campaign against polio, measles and rubella at its office in Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State this morning.
    

The mass vaccination campaign was halted due to the coronavirus outbreak. The department’s medical staff injected children aged less than two years with vaccination against various diseases such as measles and rubella free of charge.


The mass vaccination campaign against measles and rubella for kids under 5 years old is being carried out across the country with the aim of complete elimination of the diseases.
