Medical workers from the Township Department of Health under Ministry of Health conducted a mass immunization campaign at the designated vaccination sites and the office of the Township maternal and child welfare association in Maungdaw Township, Rakhine State starting from the first week of May this year.

Healthcare workers dosed and vaccinated children below two years old and pregnant women with hepatitis B, Polio, measles, diphtheria and Japanese encephalitis at the designated vaccination sites in the Township.

The mass vaccination campaign was carried out in line with Covid-19 health guidelines set by Ministry of Health.—Thet Lwin Soe(District IPRD)
